Turbat, 15 May 2025 : Prominent Baloch activist Mir Yar Baloch has publicly extended support to India, stating that the people of the Democratic Republic of Balochistan stand in solidarity with the Indian government during ongoing regional tensions involving Pakistan and China.
In a tweet that quickly went viral, Mir Yar Baloch declared:
“Solidarity Has No Borders. The people of the Democratic Republic of Balochistan come to show their full support to the people of Bharat. China is helping Pakistan, but Balochistan and its people are the government of Bharat. Dear @narendramodi ji, you are not alone — you have the backing of 60 million Baloch patriots.”
The post tagged several key Indian political figures, including Dr. S. Jaishankar, Rajnath Singh, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing a symbolic alliance between the Baloch freedom movement and India.
The statement arrives amid heightened geopolitical strains following Operation Sindoor, India’s reported military action targeting cross-border terror infrastructure. Mir Yar Baloch’s remarks appear to position Baloch nationalists as aligned with Indian interests, particularly in opposing Chinese support to Pakistan.
This expression of cross-border solidarity reflects increasing digital diplomacy and narrative-building efforts from Baloch leaders seeking global attention and recognition of Balochistan’s aspirations for independence.
