Balochistan Boycott Turkey Mir Yar Baloch Kurdistan

Quetta – May 16, 2025 : In a strong geopolitical statement, prominent Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch expressed solidarity with India’s #BoycottTurkey campaign, accusing Turkey of supporting Pakistan’s military actions and interfering in regional stability.

In a tweet that has garnered wide attention, Mir Yar Baloch alleged that Turkey has supplied arms to Pakistan, contributing to regional instability and human rights violations in Balochistan. He also pointed to Turkey’s past involvement in military actions against Kurdish populations, calling it a pattern of oppressive behavior against secular ethnic groups.

“Balochistan’s people stand with Bharat’s campaign of #BoycottTurkey… It is time for Bharat and the civilized world to support the independence of #Kurdistan and #Balochistan,” he stated.

The tweet emphasized that both Balochistan and Kurdistan are secular entities facing what he described as systemic oppression by the governments of Pakistan and Turkey.

Regional Implications

The statement comes amid increasing tensions in South Asia, where Turkey’s strategic support to Pakistan — including military cooperation — has often been viewed critically in Indian and Baloch circles. Mir Yar’s post also highlights Baloch concerns about foreign interference and echoes calls for international recognition of their independence movement.

Rising Online Momentum

With “Balochistan Flag” and “Boycott Turkey” trending across platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Google Search, this statement adds to the growing online mobilization of support for marginalized ethnic regions.
